I’ve spent my entire adult life in the car business. From my first job washing and parking Fords at a local dealership to my most recent role leading OEM Partnerships for a national digital marketplace.
Along the way, I’ve sold, financed, underwritten, funded, collected, online-marketed, direct-mailed, forecasted, acquired, divested, and been able to see this industry from a multitude of perspectives.

Alain Nana-Sinkam is an auto industry veteran of over 25 years with deep industry knowledge and relationships, and is a thought leader on the future of the automotive ecosystem
He is currently Head of OEM Partnerships for TrueCar, a publicly-traded automotive marketplace, connecting manufacturers, consumers, dealers, and other stakeholders on a platform that pushes forward to the future of car buying
He was previously the Chief Operating Officer for a.i.m., a used car supply chain solution combining acquisition, reconditioning, and distribution capabilities to serve the auto dealership community. He has also served in various leadership roles at ALG, the industry benchmark for residual values, led sales and marketing teams at Wells Fargo and HSBC Auto Finance and started his career in an auto dealership.

I am the definition of a car nerd, turning my lifelong passion as an enthusiast into a career introducing cutting-edge experiences for car shoppers at an industry-leading automotive marketplace.
I’ve been dubbed a “Swiss Army Knife” by colleagues for my ability to flex into various roles and perfect the tasks at hand. My automotive background includes roles in M&A, partnerships, software integrations, forecasting, OEM product planning, and affiliate marketing.
The industry is due for a major redesign. Together we can make that a reality.
Sam Salzinger has spent nearly a decade in the automotive industry establishing and growing partnerships. His knack for turning data into clear and actionable insights has captured the attention of executives at OEMs, on Wall Street, and tech companies.
Sam is currently Business Development Manager at Recurrent, providing more transparency and confidence in pre-owned electric car transactions. Previously, he was a Director of Business Development for TrueCar, a premier online destination for buying and selling new and used vehicles. He has held several positions over his tenure there and at ALG, the industry benchmark for residual values, ranging from corporate development to program management and consulting.
